This is a new trail around Llyn Alwen with fine views over the lake and over to Snowdonia. We will be following the south side of the lake, up onto the moorland and returning the same way. The surface is slate dust and there are some steep ascents but these should be fine with a strong, well-charged battery! Passengers on "The Cambrian" can also get a third off a ride on the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway. Llandudno. Join Llandudno Youth Music Theatre as they present the first performance in Wales of this wonderful musical. If you enjoy the shows of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice don’t miss this opportunity to be in one of the first audiences this year to see The Likes of Us at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. This lost gem was the first show they wrote together over 40 years ago. It never made the West End stage and received its world premiere in 2005 at the Sydmonton Festival. The Likes Of Us tells the story of the life of Dr Thomas Barnardo and his evangelical, entrepreneurial and philanthropic crusades to rescue children living on the streets. A musical that has existed for 40 years hidden away from view, The Likes of Us is an Oliver!-esque musical that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
